Hi, I’m Jude Simon

I need to take your picture, but not for the reasons you might think.

Having a professional photo taken is not just about capturing stunning images - it's about preserving memories and creating a tangible record of your life journey. The photos I have of my family are my most treasured possessions!

Growing up in Haiti, my dad was a pastor, and I had a loving, close-knit family. At age 18, my sisters and I came to America, where I attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Texas. While in the States, we received the devastating news that there had been a murder attempt against my parents - my father didn’t make it, and my mother was left in critical condition but thankfully recovered. After that tragedy, my sisters and I decided to purchase a camera to document our time together - to capture everyday moments so we would never forget.

I still don't know why God would let that happen, but this most painful loss planted the seeds of my photography business. Amidst my heartbreak, I learned that documenting time with those I love and preserving our memories was paramount to my healing. Soon after, my skill for authentically capturing people began getting noticed, and I fell in love with photography.

Returning home to Haiti in 2017, I started my photography business. While known for its poverty, I wanted to showcase Haiti's beauty behind the challenges - no matter how bleak the situation. While I'm forever grateful for the lesson learned there - to look beyond what I see with my eyes - the instability in Haiti prompted me to seek new horizons. I've since relocated to Texas in the United States, where I continue my photographic journey, offering specialized services in portraiture, wedding documentation, and event photography.

Through my relationship and love for Jesus, He has given me a better lens to see the world and love people. I focus on people. I love telling your story with my lens.
